November 6th Voters passed Initiative 1639. The impact is yet to be seen but we are here to tell you what we do know. Effective January 1, 2019 the age to be able to purchase a semi automatic rifle goes from 18 to 21. Effective July 1, 2019 all other aspects of Initiative 1639 will take effect including the safe storage rules and the 10 day waiting time to purchase a semi automatic rifle. A legal challenge to the initiative has been threatened by the Second Amendment Foundation. In the mean time, feel free to come see us for a full selection of semi automatic rifles, stripped lowers and parts and accessories and be ahead of the coming changes. We will be offering the class that you will need to have to have every 5 years if you are purchasing a rifle after July 2019. We will have class dates on our website by the end of the week.
