LEOSA and Private Security Qualification/ Requalification

Private Security Qualification/ Re-qualification

Please do not sign up for this online as price varies for each different qual. Please see contact info below to schedule.

We are authorized and certified by Washington State to administer the Armed License for Private Security, Bail Bond Recovery Agent or Private investigator.  Cost is 1-3 employees: $265 each, 4 or more employees $210 each.  Recertification cost 1-3 employees: $125 each, 4 or more employees $95 each.  

LEOSA:

Retired law enforcement officer qualification certifications.  Cost is $45.  We provide all paperwork for you to send to your department or to the WSCJTC.   Qualifications are administered by certified Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission Level I Firearms Instructors. Every Month that has 5 Wednesdays

Action Shooting provides an opportunity for participants to draw from holster, go through multiple shooting drills, barrier shooting, and moving while shooting. Taking the Introduction to Handgun and the Conceal Carry Courses is recommended, but not required, before participation in one of the shooting leagues. Participants are scored using IPSC standards safety rules and scoring. Learn more about IPSC Scoring: (http://www.travistomasie.com/hit-factors-and-uspsa-ipsc-scoring.html). Scores are posted at https://practiscore.com/ (keep this in mind when entering the name you wish to appear on the website). Entrance fee to Action Shooting is free for Unlimited Members, $5 for Basic Members, and $10 for non-members.  NOTE: Participants are required to arrive on time to hear the safety briefing. If you arrive after the safety briefing you will not be able to participate in Action that evening. If you are interested in observing before participation please call our staff at The Range at (509) 571-1449. 

Action X: This co-ed group meets any fifth Wednesday at 6:00pm and goes until 7:30pm. Shooters can expect three stages and 20 to 50 rounds. Holsters are recommended, but not required. Eye and ear protection are required, but can be rented of you do not own your own. You can also rent a handgun and purchase ammunition. New participants are welcome. 

 

Required Equipment:

-Round Count:  Varies between 20-50 rounds needed for pistol

-Eye protection and ear protection required

-Rental firearms available for additional cost

-Holster recommended but not required

 

**** IMPORTANT NOTICE ******

If you are a first time shooter at The Range, or your waiver has expired, please come early enough to allow time to watch the required safety video and complete the required waiver.  We suggest 20 minutes.

If you are unable to attend the Safety Briefing in its entirety, you will not be allowed to participate but you are welcome to stay and observe.

Be sure to pre-register for Action Shooting on our website at www.therangellc.com in order to reserve your spot.  Space is limited and preference will be given to those who are pre-registered.  This is a popular event and spots fill up fast.  If you have not pre-registered, we cannot guarantee you will be able to participate.
