ACTION SHOOTING LEAGUE

Intermediate Handgun

2 hours- Course Cost - $99

Intermediate Handgun will start off where we left off in Basic Handgun. Students will learn about proper reload techniques (Speed and Tactical), Malfunction Clearances, and operating the firearm with both their Strong and Support hand only. Live Fire drills to increase confidence and speed will be practiced.

Objectives:

Review of Firearm Safety
Reloads, both slide lock (Speed) and topping off (Tactical)
Malfunctions and how to clear them quickly
Strong and Support hand only Handgun operation
Learn and practice several drills to increase Speed and Accuracy

Note: The rate of progression of the training depends on the number of students in the class and the overall skill levels of the students. Having students safely fire their handguns and show improvement in accuracy, speed and confidence is the goal of the class.

GEAR REQUIREMENTS:

Pistol
2-3 magazines for semi-autos, 1-2 speed loaders are highly recommended for revolvers
Magazine speed-loader (UpLULA) is recommended if you have a semi-auto
Comfortable clothing suitable for standing long periods of time. Open toed shoes or low-cut clothing are not acceptable for training.
Hearing and Eye protection (wrap around eye protection recommended)
Baseball cap is HIGHLY recommended (to prevent ejected cases from falling on face and neck)
50-100 Rounds of ammunition.

Introduction to Handgun, or Ladies/General Concealment I

Rental Options:

Guns and gear are available for use during the class.

If students need a firearm, the rental is included in the class cost, but ammunition must be purchased for the firearm at The Range LLC. (Note: depending on ammunition availability, students may bring their own factory-loaded ammunition for use in The Range LLC rental guns. NO HANDLOADED AMMUNITION ALLOWED IN RENTAL GUNS!)

After your class enrollment tuition payments are not refundable, but those funds may be applied to a future class with at least one week’s advanced notification. Utah/ Arizona Concealed Carry

This is one of The Range's most popular classes!

This class (along with your current Washington State Concealed Pistol License) will enable you to receive a Concealed Permit from the State of Utah, which is recognized in 37 states! This class also fulfills the requirement for training required if you apply for an Oregon or Arizona CPP. This class also provides (at no extra cost) the required fingerprint card and photo for Utah; all the documentation needed to submit the application in one stop and is valid for one year. You must have a valid Washington State Concealed Pistol License and valid Washington State Driver's License at the time you apply. **NEW AS OF OCT 2019- This class will also include the required I-1639 Semi-Auto Rifle Training certificate.
